Technology Planners (TP) was originally organized as the Engineering Division of Star Cablevision Group™ (Star). In January of 1996, TP was incorporated as a stand-alone company.

While a division of Star, TP oversaw its technical needs and administration managing over 400 cable systems served by 250 headends in seven states and two international markets.

In 1998 TP added financial consulting to its menu of services which already had grown to include consulting, engineering, design, mapping, and project management services. TP was able to offer it's clients a full spectrum of technical, financial, and administrative services based on a foundation of over twenty years of broadcasting, cable, telephone, and RF experience.

Our twenty years of broadband communication industy experience can offer you focused ideas and solutions today. TP's broad range of expertise and skill provide clients with realistic solutions in today's ever-changing technology market. We will provide analysis, engineering, design, and installation for the development of both the new and enhanced infrastructure needs.

Our relationship with many high technology vendors allow us to stay current, if not ahead of the learning curve. We utilize our relationships with third party partners to develop the "correct" strategies needed to provide the services that our clients need. TP has always been eager to review and use different, new and emerging technologies. We've provided engineering services to leading cable systems from 1979's first thirty-five channel cable systems to 21st century "VDSL" broadband systems.
